A Meeting was held with Power Planner International (PPI) to discuss different aspects of Stability and Load Flow Study for Gulpur Hydropower Project. An agreement to conduct the integrated studies for the project was executed between the parties and study will be concluded within 8-10 weeks period by the PPI.

The representative of ADB along with MPL team visited Project Site of Gulpur Hydropower Project in Kotli to see the different planned structures on Poonch River i.e. Power House, Weir Site, In-take and Submerged areas. MPL explained the ADB regarding all project structures, interconnection details and environmental & resettlement impacts of the project.
MPL conducted first meeting with Government of Pakistan (PPIB) today on June 28, 2013 to negotiate and finalize the Concession Documents. In the first instance, portion of GOP Implementation Agreement was finalized and meeting was postponed to July 3, 2013 to finalize the remaining portion of GOP Implementation Agreement.
