Certificate Distribution Ceremony – Women’s Stitching Skills Development Program under MPL’s Green Switch Program

Under its MPL’s Green Switch Program, Mira Power Limited (MPL) hosted a Certificate Distribution Ceremony on May 12, 2026, in Kotli to celebrate the success of its Women’s Stitching Skills Development Program. The event, attended by MPL’s CEO, CTO, and Manager (EHS & CSR), honoured the trainees of the third and fourth training batches.
Implemented in collaboration with the Barali Welfare Society and fully sponsored by MPL, the program successfully trained 52 women from project-affected households across four batches. In addition to certification, MPL distributed sewing machine sets (containing essential stitching equipment) to all trainees. This holistic approach ensures the trainees can immediately leverage their new skills for self-employment, driving sustainable income generation and long-term economic empowerment of the local community in Kotli, AJ&K.
